Beda’s Association and Afro-Pfingsten Festival Launch Documentary Series Highlighting Ghanaian Music and Culture


Beda’s Association, a leading alternative musical space for socially disadvantaged children in Accra, Ghana, and the Afro-Pfingsten Festival are thrilled to announce the release of the first episode of their collaborative documentary series. This groundbreaking project aims to showcase Ghana’s rich musical heritage and foster international collaborations.

Episode 1: Universal Wonderful Street Academy

The inaugural episode, with "Universal Wonderful Street Academy," focuses on the inspiring story of Nii Kwanchie II, who has been officially crowned as a king in Jamestown, a historic fishing community in Accra. In this challenging environment, Nii Kwanchie II established the Universal Wonderful Street Academy, where music and African culture provide the youth with joy, purpose, and hope.


The first episode will be available to the public HERE on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
