Afro-Pfingsten only takes place thanks to the tireless support of many people. Our heartfelt thanks go to every single person who supports the Afro-Pfingsten Festival in any way - be it as a volunteer, corporate patron, sponsor, partner or member of the Friends' Association. Without you, no Afro-Pfingsten!

We are delighted that you would like to become part of Team 2025! You can now register for various assignments. Further shifts will be added at a later date. 

Thanks to over 500 helpers, the Afro-Pfingsten Festival is an unforgettable experience every year. Experience the music and market life in the old town of Winterthur from the front row! Whether in the infrastructure, with the collection, as a jumper at the festival, or accompanying street artists - all this is made possible by you and many other dedicated helpers. With a lot of passion and joy, together we contribute to making the festival in the old town come alive!

This is how it works

Get your shifts: Register on our volunteer platform. You can then choose your desired shifts. In your personal “My shifts” area, you can keep track of your shifts and even import them into your electronic calendar.

Volunteers' office

The volunteers' office is located in the Stadtmission, right next to the festival site.

Our thank you gifts for you

Your incredible efforts should be rewarded. - Goodies: Food and drinks on site,
T-shirts, attractive prizes in the volunteer game, concert tickets and much more for you and your friends are waiting for you.

Dear market participants,

Registrations for 2025 are now being accepted here:

Attention: You can register for 3 days or1.5 days. By sending your registration you express your interest. Your participation is only confirmed once we have contacted you and the invoice has been paid.

Important: If you register after 31 January 2025, you will be placed on the waiting list and we will contact you if a place becomes available. Thank you

Late registrations only with processing fee (CHF 200.-).

Furthermore, the checkpoint concept will be slightly adapted this year. We will send you the relevant documents after successful registration.
